WHAT MAKES CROSSFIT 253 DIFFERENT?

You will see all types of people at CrossFit 253. You may see military members working to crush WOD's and doing extra work to crush the ACFT.  You will see the Dad just dropping in for a workout while trying to keep up with work and his kids’ hectic schedule. You will see the high school offensive lineman trying to get stronger, faster, and better. You will see the grandmother working on her back squat, just because she wants maximize her time with that title “Grandma.” You will see the “on-the-go” mom, who is trying to raise her day by finding some “me” time. You will see a bunch of kids from the ages of 6 to 72 (yep were all kids at heart) running around and trying new things. And you will see the CrossFit fanatic, who just loves everything CrossFit. You will see a rich and diverse community of people who love being together.

At CrossFit 253, we do functional things! Things you do in everyday life. Things that make you stronger and faster. We use barbells, kettlebells, rubber slam balls, wooden boxes, gymnastic rings, pull-up bars, the wall, the floor, a weight sled, and a bunch of other stuff that we are still thinking up. We Mix it up! The workout will ALWAYS change. Things in life are never predictable. We aren’t either. We do things with a sense of purpose and get it done. Your time is precious and we want to make you the best you can be. Most importantly, you will do all this under the watchful eye of a caring and seasoned coach who knows you and your ability.

OUR FACILITY

CrossFit 253 is now 2 spaces our original 1,400-square-foot facility set up for small groups and personal training and our larger space 3,900-square-foot-facility filled with all the things you need for a great Crossfit workout. We have amazing equipment, plus group and individual training led by our experienced coaches. Our staff is filled with compassionate and engaging professionals who are rooting for your success. You won’t find a gym with a more personable community. There’s no drama. Just great people striving to do great things!

CROSSFIT

Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Our CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of your experience, age, or fitness level.



CROSSFIT 101

Every new CrossFitter begins in our CrossFit 101 course. You’ll learn the correct techniques for classic CrossFit movements and you will learn the CrossFit lingo. This course will set you up for success for any of the regular CrossFit classes.



FIREBREATHERS

CrossFit Kids, affectionately called “Firebreathers,” teaches children the principles of mechanics, consistency, and intensity in working out. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. As a Firebreather, your child will gain physical literacy and enhanced sports performance, while avoiding sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and in the classroom.



PERSONAL TRAINING

In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time for regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have. CrossFit 253 offers personal training sessions that will help you achieve your ideal body. We’ll develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you, whether your goal is to gain muscle or lose weight.
