I came up with a few ideas on where to go to keep cool during these hot days we have been having. Please feel free to share any ideas you might have. Don't forget to put on that sunscreen and drink lots of water!
1. Take the family for a swim at American Lake. Parking and entrance is free.
2. Go to Regal Cinemas in Lakewood and enjoy the $1 movies all summer long.

3. Cool off at Freedom Park in JBLM. Remember to bring your water shoes as the pavement does get hot in the hotter days.
4. Take the whole family bowling. Make sure to sign up the kids at Kids Bowl Free to get your free tickets (good for 2 games/day during the summer).
5. Take advantage of the free passes at your local library for museums. Any other information is available at Pierce County Library
